I bought a 400 acre farm, deep in the Gloucestershire countryside, some five years ago. Initially, I used it as my weekend home, somewhere to escape to when I needed to get out of the city. Now, my family and I spend as much time as we can here.

I hated watching chemicals be poured onto the land, so I put my farm under conversion and now have full organic status. We are building up our herd of Gloucestershire cattle, Gloucester Old Spot pigs, Shetland and Lleyn sheep. |

We also just harvested our first crops; winter and spring wheat and oats. My brother Michael, manages the farm. My mother is the Bo Peep of the family and is sheep obsessed. |
